A woman found herself in a hilarious situation when an Evri delivery driver took an unflattering photo of her while delivering a parcel. Instead of being mortified, she decided to share the amusing incident online.
Ellie Roxanne Johnson, from Rhondda in South Wales, was in the middle of a shower when she heard the delivery driver at her front door. In a rush to collect her parcel, she dashed out of the shower, wrapped only in a towel.
Still wet and fresh from the shower, she hurried to the front door to meet the courier. The driver couldn't help but chuckle as he handed over the parcel, noticing her soaking hair and towel-wrapped appearance.
He then snapped a photo for delivery confirmation, capturing the comical moment.

What could have been an embarrassing experience quickly turned into a viral sensation of relatable chaos. Ellie shared the story and photo on TikTok, where her followers praised her for handling the situation with humour, reports Wales Online.
Delivery drivers often take photos to provide proof of delivery, confirming that a package has been successfully delivered to the correct location. The snaps act as proof for both the courier firm and the recipient, helping to prevent and settle rows about missing or mislaid deliveries, whilst offering safeguards against bogus claims.
Typically delivery drivers don't require your face in the picture. She revealed in the clip: "I've just seen the picture that the Evri man took of me whilst at the door in my towel.
"I'm shaking cause I think I'm hungry. He knocks the door. I open it. He's not even looking at me at this point. I take it off from him. I say: 'Oh thanks. You know you've just disrupted my shower'. He looks up at me and he goes 'Haha' [takes a photo] whilst I'm standing here like this. [I say] 'Yeah, cheers, butt – thanks for that'."
The embarrassed TikToker shared the amusing photograph where she was spotted clutching the towel around her frame and straight out of the shower
"Evri you do it every time," she penned in the caption. And her followers flooded to the comments to share their opinions. One wrote: "that's the best delivery photo I've seen," another said: "I'm sorry I've just laughed my head off, brilliant." A third commented: "as a postie this is an incredibly embarrassing part of the job and I hate it."
An Evri spokesperson said: "We’re glad that Ellie has seen the funny side. Whilst we have not been provided with any information to identify and look into this fully, we do have guidance in place for our couriers about capturing delivery photos. These are stored securely, not on the courier’s device and only for as long as necessary.
"Customers can also select their delivery preferences including a safe place, or request more time to get to the door using the Evri app, which can save a dash from the shower."
